Biography
Prof. Plaza Villegas teaches growth and development, orthodontics, and orofacial pain to dental students and orthodontics graduate residents. He has received several teaching awards. Dr. Plaza holds a D.D.S. from Universidad Central de Venezuela, a M.S. in Orthodontics from Universidad Autonoma de Tamaulipas, Mexico, a M.S. in Oral Biology and a Fellow in Orofacial Pain from Rutgers University, formerly University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. He joined the university in 2011.
